Orange County CLASH Rugby is committed to improving the lives of disabled
individuals through adaptive sports and recreation. Collaborating with the
Orlando Greater Spinal Cord Injury Network, CLASH Rugby is a co-ed, highly
competitive sport for athletes with varying physical disabilities.
Previously known as MurderBall, our athletes use specially designed,
fast-moving wheelchairs to block, pass, and carry the ball to the goal. As
in able-bodied rugby, collisions-via wheelchairs-are an integral part of the
game play. CLASH Rugby rules include elements of several wheelchair sports,
which include basketball, ice hockey, handball, and rugby.
Don’t be fooled by the wheelchair.these guys are hard to beat.
